"We reserve a private room for dinner and the service was absolutely great we ordered vegetable gyoza, miso soup with gyoza, clear soup, tempura, Tokyo ramen and roast veggies, every single item came fast heart and delicious! The staff are so kind, my miso soup came without gyoza so they gave me a few extra gyoza to come along with it, more than what would usually come with the miso soup and gyoza! The atmosphere is incredible, weather in tyre koi fish pond in the entrance, the staff are always checking up on you and will even ask for your opinion and review on the food! I'm delighted by this wonderful service tonight, it has made my day. Ulan, Suciati, (The Only 2 staff's name tag I could see in my pictures) plus all the other amazing staff were great . Definitely will come again without hesitating, five stars!"

"We had an unforgettable evening at Genji Teppanyaki & Japanese Restaurant in the Ayodya Resort Bali, Nusa Dua. Everything from the ambiance to the service and food was simply perfect. We had made a table reservation the day before, and it was very easy to book since there were plenty of time slots available. This made the whole experience smooth and stress-free from the start. For starters, we enjoyed delicious tofu in teriyaki sauce, which was flavorful, comforting, and a wonderful beginning to our meal. I ordered the salmon teriyaki, cooked beautifully with a rich, perfectly balanced glaze. My partner chose the wagyu teppanyaki set, which included a fresh salad, the incredibly tender wagyu main dish, and a dessert of choice—naturally, we picked the chocolate ice cream, which was delightful. One of the highlights for us was that the restaurant serves halal food, making it an excellent choice for Muslim guests. It was great to enjoy high-quality Japanese cuisine while feeling fully comfortable with the ingredients. The teppanyaki performance was entertaining and skillfully executed. Our chef Putu did an amazing job—his precision, presentation, and friendly interaction truly elevated the entire experience. We also want to give a special thank you to our server, Ulan, who was incredibly warm, attentive, and professional throughout the evening. As a charming final touch, we received our own origami, making the experience even more memorable. The combination of excellent service, delicious food, and a beautiful setting made this a perfect dining experience. We will definitely be coming back, and we highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Bali—especially Muslim travelers looking for a halal-friendly fine dining experience."

The real highlight was the service—Leni made the evening feel personalized and welcoming, guiding us through the menu with warmth and expert recommendations. Her attentiveness struck the perfect balance: checked in just enough without hovering, making us feel valued. The sushi is outstanding. The tuna (maguro) was silky and well-marbled, with a clean, ocean-fresh finish that kept delivering bite after bite. The salmon (sake) was equally impressive—utterly buttery, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture and a perfect rice-to-fish balance. Beef and seafood offerings were solid accompaniments, providing hearty contrast to the delicate sushi while still showcasing top-notch preparation and flavor.
